Drive & Fixing Systems

Each of the wheels in the Standel Dawman range is available with any of the following drive systems:

standard-clutch Standard Clutch
- pressed into the rear of the wheel
- fixed to the axle using an ‘R’-pin
- available in 12mm or ½”
- to be used with a standard gearbox

quick-release-clutch Quick Release Clutch
- pressed into the rear of the wheel
- fixed to the axle via quick release clip and grooves in the axle and driven by an axle spring pin
- available in 12mm or ½”
- to be used with a standard gearbox

solid-drive-unit Solid Drive
- pressed into the rear of the wheel
- fixed to the axle via a quick release clip and grooves in the axle and driven by an axle spring pin
- available in 12mm or ½”
- to be used with a differential or limited slip differential gearbox
- axles must have a second groove on each side to allow a free wheel option to be engaged

8pin-drive-unit Outboard Clutch
- an outboard clutch pinned directly to the axle, with separate wheel assembled to the trolley using quick release clip and grooves in the axle
- available in 12mm or ½”
- to be used with a standard gearbox

Diff-Axle-Section-with-Outb Outboard Solid Drive
- an outboard solid drive pinned directly to the axle, with separate wheel assembled to the trolley using quick release clip and grooves in the axle
- available in 12mm or ½”
- to be used with a differential or limited slip differential gearbox
- axles must have a second groove on each side to allow a free wheel option to be engaged
